Session Rates & Booking
Photography session rates are based on one photographic subject, such as one family, one couple, or one senior.
For photographers planning consecutive mini-sessions with multiple subjects, the half-hour session rate applies separately to each family, couple, senior, or other individual photographic subject.
Please contact us before booking if your project involves multiple subjects, commercial photography, video production, a larger crew, or extended use of the property so we can provide the appropriate rate and arrangements.

Timber Valley isn’t just a destination for portrait photography. Our property can also provide a unique setting for photographers, videographers, filmmakers, content creators, and drone operators looking for authentic Maryland countryside scenery.
The combination of open fields, wooded areas, the timber-frame barn, stone farmhouse, The Cove, seasonal landscapes, and scenic mountain views offers a variety of settings for creative projects.

Drone operations require advance approval and must be conducted safely and in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and airspace requirements. Additional guidelines may apply depending on the type and scope of the project.
Videographers and production teams may rent time at Timber Valley based on their specific project needs. Larger productions, commercial projects, extended sessions, or projects involving crews and specialized equipment may require custom pricing.

🌧️ Rain & Weather Policy
Photography sessions at Timber Valley are held outdoors, so weather is an important consideration when planning your visit. If rain, severe weather, or unsafe conditions are expected to make the scheduled photography session impractical, we will work with the photographer or client to reschedule the session for another available date.
Because weather can change quickly, the final decision to reschedule will be made as close to the session as reasonably possible. Light rain or changing weather does not automatically require cancellation, and some photographers may choose to continue when conditions are safe and appropriate for the type of photographs being created.
If a session is rescheduled because of weather, the original photography fee will be applied to the rescheduled date. The rescheduled session must take place within 30 days of the original session date and is subject to availability. A weather-related reschedule is non-transferable and may only be used by the original photographer or client who made the booking.
We want photographers and their clients to have a positive experience at Timber Valley while also keeping everyone’s safety and comfort in mind.
💳 Photography Booking & No-Refund Policy
Photography session fees are non-refundable once a booking has been confirmed. The payment reserves the agreed-upon date and time at Timber Valley and prevents that availability from being offered to another photographer or client.
If a session must be rescheduled because of qualifying weather conditions, the original photography fee may be applied to one rescheduled session, subject to our Rain & Weather Policy. The rescheduled session must take place within 30 days of the original session date, is subject to availability, and is non-transferable.
Cancellations, failure to appear for the scheduled session, or failure to use the reserved time do not qualify for a refund or credit. A no-show is considered a cancellation.
By booking a photography session at Timber Valley, the photographer or client acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
